Funke Digital launches All Romance and Crimify on Samsung TV Plus

May 21, 2025 22.48 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German service provider Funke Digital is expanding its presence on Samsung TV Plus with the launch of two new FAST Channels: All Romance and Crimify.

The additions, which are aimed at German-speaking audiences, bring Funke’s total offering on the streaming platform to 32 channels across eight European countries.

The two new channels, launched in collaboration with OneGate Media, Tiberius Film, and Kontor New Media, reflect growing viewer interest in genre-specific, free streaming content.

All Romance targets a predominantly female audience with a 24/7 lineup of feel-good romantic comedy and romantic films from around the world. Tania Reichert-Facilides, Managing Director at OneGate Media, describes the channel as “the perfect escape from everyday life” and “the go-to destination for international films with heart”.

Crimify caters to the crime genre, offering a mix of European crime series and films licensed from Kontor New Media. Gerrit Rüpke, Head of Movie/TV at Kontor, promises “high-quality crime content and guaranteed suspense”, noting the importance of the genre in today’s streaming landscape.

“We’re delighted to be working with such well-respected partners, who are key to realising our strategy of expanding premium content offerings and enriching the world of FAST Channels,” said Verena Märtens, Head of Content Partnerships at Funke Digital.

A long-standing partner of Samsung TV Plus since 2016, Funke Digital supports content producers and platform operators in distributing and monetising video content across FAST platforms and Funke’s own digital portals.
