Refresh for NOW app in Italy

April 30, 2025 14.04 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Sky Italia is rolling out a new version of its NOW app in the Italian market with an improved user experience and new advanced feature.

The new NOW app is being progressively rolled out across all platforms.

The Home page has been redesigned to highlight NOW’s range of live and on-demand content. From there its possible to quickly access the thematic sections Entertainment, Cinema, Sport and the list of Favorites.

The new interface makes it easier to navigate between one linear channel and another. It’s also possible to access the EPG electronic guide at any time, without interrupting the viewing of the program on air, to find out what is on air on the other channels. Zapping is now also significantly faster.

Lorenzo Foglia, Managing Director of NOW, comments: “NOW makes a formidable leap in quality. We are the fastest growing streaming service on the Italian market and this was the right time to evolve further, focusing on innovation, personalization and an immersive viewing experience. NOW now builds on Peacock’s powerful global infrastructure – NBCUniversal to deliver an even more performing, feature-rich app that is up to par with international players, while maintaining its great entertainment and sports content. This really is the best NOW ever.”

The arrival of the new app coincides with the migration of NOW Universal’s technology platform.
