
Comcast’s domestic streaming service Peacock narrowed its losses to $215 million from $639 million in the first quarter of 2024.
The NBCUniversal service ended March 2024 on 41 million subscribers, an increase of 5 million on the December quarter.
The US media giant reported overall first quarter revenues of $29.8 billion, a shade down on the $30.05 billion recorded in Q1 2024.
Revenues within the media division increased thanks to higher international networks revenue, largely associated with the distribution of sports networks.
Corporate and Other, which includes Sky operations in Germany, grew by 3.4% to $767 million, though extrapolation may be difficult given that it is bundled in with the Philadelphia Flyers and the Wells Fargo Center arena in Philadelphia.
