
John Malone has decided not to stand for re-election to the Warner Bros Discovery Board of Directors, the company has announced.
Dr Malone will transition to the role of Chair Emeritus, allowing him to regularly attend Board meetings and provide strategic counsel and support to the Board and management team.

A company filing said the 84 year-old cable vereran’s decision was not as the result of any disagreement.

Warner Bros. Discovery intends to nominate General Atlantics’s Anton Levy for election by stockholders at its upcoming Annual Meeting.
