Tele2 is launching a range of flexible packages that allow customers to combine linear channels with streaming services and change them monthly.
For example, one streaming service can be swapped for another without a change to the total cost.
“This is more than a new offer. It’s a new way of thinking about TV and streaming. We give customers the freedom to customise their content to their lives – not the other way around. Flexibility and simplicity have been our starting point throughout the development,” says Niclas Rosendahl, Business Area President Entertainment at Tele2.
The Swedish operator is also bringing in a new set-top box. Tv Hub 2 supports 4K HDR, Dolby Atmos and Android TV 14. Popular apps are pre-installed, and the consumer can seek out more through the Google Play Store. It also features voice control, Chromecast and Bluetooth.
The hub is included in all TV and streaming packages ordered online.
