Max has announced plans to extend its Basic with Ads plan in Spain, Portugal, and Andorra.
It means Basic with Ads is now available in 14 European markets. In Spain and Andorra the cost is €6.99 a month and Portugal €5.99.
The Max Basic with Ads advertising supported plan will also launch on Amazon in Spain and Andorra, joining France, Sweden, and the Netherlands where it’s already available.
Max is currently streaming The White Lotus, The Last of Us and breakout Spanish local original When Nobody Sees Us.
Luca Nicoli, VP Digital Ad-supported Services, EMEA at WBD, said subscribers had responded positively to the plan. “Applying our years of experience as an advertising partner across TV networks and Discovery+, in key markets including the UK, Italy, Germany, and Nordics brands benefit from our commercial break patterns designed to seamlessly integrate into the content viewing experience.”
In all the Warner Bros Discovery streaming platform can be found on France, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Romania, Poland, Netherlands and Belgium in Europe, as well as the United States, Latin America and Australia where Max launched on 31 March this year.
