Allente adds Chief Commercial Officer; appoints Chief B2B Officer

April 3, 2025 12.13 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Nordic TV and streaming company Allente has hired Norwegian Tor Jacobsen for the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

Jacobsen comes from Schibsted Media, where he has held several leading roles, most recently as EVP Product and Consumer. He has also been a board member of E24, and chairman of the podcast platform Podme.

Jacobsen will now be responsible for driving Allente’s commercial strategy and development in the consumer market.

“We are pleased to welcome Tor to Allente. He has extensive experience in digital transformation within the media industry and will be a key figure in our continued development. He will play a crucial role in realising our strategy and driving the company’s growth in the coming years”, says Mahmoud Mustapha, CEO of Allente.

“I am delighted to join Allente in the exciting phase the company is currently in. It has a strong will to develop, the courage to change and a clear vision for the future – and this is what attracted me here. I look forward to contributing to the company’s development and growth,” added Jacobsen.

Allente is also giving its B2B business a clearer focus area by establishing Chief B2B Officer as a new role in the management team. This role is now being filled by Victor Liljeroth. He has held several leading roles in the consumer-oriented part of Allente, most recently as Chief Market Officer.

“Victor has been an important part of our company for many years, and I am looking forward to seeing him take on this assignment. His knowledge of our company, and his strong commitment to our customers, make him the right person to lead our continued focus on the B2B segment,” says Mahmoud Mustapha.

“I am looking forward to taking on the role of Chief B2B Officer, and to being able to help develop our B2B offering further. We have a fantastic team, and great opportunities to create value for our corporate customers. I look forward to building on what has already been achieved, and taking the next step together,” adds Liljeroth.
