AgileTV and CANAL+ Germany launch B2B IPTV platform

April 1, 2025 18.29 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

TV and video technology solutions provider AgileTV is partnering with CANAL+ Germany to introduce “The Entertainment Hub” in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

This B2B IPTV platform aims to redefine the white-label TV business model for platform and network operators in the region.

AgileTV provides the technology, enabling a seamless, future-proof TV service for operators, designed to reduce complexity and enhance efficiency, while CANAL+ Germany, with its years of experience in B2B content rights management and marketing, ensures operators have access to a powerful and competitive content approach driving engagement and retention.

“This collaboration guarantees a sustainable, forward-thinking solution that helps operators stay ahead in the rapidly changing entertainment ecosystem. It will redefine TV delivery in German, Austrian and Swiss markets”, said Ruben Señor-Megias, CSO of AgileTV.

Marco Hellberg, Managing Director of CANAL+ Germany, added: “For network operators, delivering a state-of-the-art TV product is essential. This requires a scalable platform and access to premium content. The Entertainment Hub provides this perfect combination, with a B2B service that is tailored to operator’s needs.”

By joining forces, AgileTV and CANAL+ Germany aim to transform the B2B white-label TV business model, allowing operators to focus on broadband services while AgileTV manages TV delivery complexities. According to the companies, the partnership enhances profitability, simplifies user experience, and strengthens operators’ competitive positions in the market.
