StudioCanal has appointed Zelda Camilleri as Global Head of TV & SVOD Sales.
Camilleri will oversee TV and SVOD sales across StudioCanal’s key territories, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Benelux, and Australia, while continuing to manage TV & SVOD sales in France.
Zelda Camilleri joined StudioCanal in 2016 and has led TV and SVOD sales for France for the past five years.
In the new cross-functional role, Camilleri will support the company’s growth strategy across multiple territories and enhance the commercialisation of its film and television productions worldwide.
She will continue to report to Anne Chérel, Chief Commercial Officer at StudioCanal, who welcomed the appointment: “With StudioCanal’s expansion in film and TV production, and the strong potential of our prestigious library titles, it is essential to structure our TV/SVOD sales globally and cross-functionally. Zelda’s experience and strategic vision will be key assets in driving our growth in these key markets. I am delighted about this new role for Zelda, which recognizes her commitment and expertise within the group.”
Zelda Camilleri holds a master’s degree in film law from Lyon 3 University. She began her career at Pathé as an international lawyer, before joining StudioCanal nine years ago as TV & SVOD France sales manager.
