Poland’s local streaming service, Player, is now offer all the country’s major terrestrial channels.
On Monday it added Poland’s two most popular linear channels, Polsat and TV4, adding to a line-up that also includes TVN, Polsat, Czwórka, TV Puls, TVP1, TVP2, and TVP3.
In all 92 channels are available, including 20 in the FAST format.
“The inclusion of Polsat and Four channels in our offer is another step in the Player’s development strategy, which we have been consistently implementing,” said Maciej Gozdowski, Group Vice President Streaming at TVN Warner Bros. Discovery. “Our users gain unprecedented access to all the largest linear channels in Poland in one place. This is not only an expansion of our portfolio, but first and foremost a real benefit for viewers, who will find a complete TV ecosystem of 92 channels on the Player. We offer a rich library of content, combining on-demand content with TV channels.”
The move follows the introduction of new must carry rules that require streaming platforms to offer all the popular national channels.
