
The Polish love of a mid-winter break led to a reduction in the amount of time spent in front of the TV in February 2025.
Audiences in Poland spent an average 5 minutes a day less watching TV than they did in January. (4 hours and 12 minutes). Watching traditional TV dropped by 4 minutes per day, and watching streaming content dropped by an average of 1 minute per day.
According to Neilsen’s The Gauge, the share of streaming in total TV viewing declined from 9.7% in January 2025 to 9.3% in February 2025 (8.3% in February 2024), the first time this has happened in several months.
In streaming, both Netflix and YouTube achieved a 2.1% audience share. This result for Netflix marked a decline from 2.3% in January, while YouTube maintained its position. Most streaming platforms posted declines, with only Amazon Prime and Player among the few that posted increases.
