German cable association DNMG is expanding its FAST Channel platform TIVEE with documentary channel FUNKE Stories.
Featuring a diverse programme focused on travel, history, science and biographies, the 24/7 service is now available to all viewers in the ‘Documentaries’ category.
With new documentaries added weekly from partners such as NZZ Format, Marco Polo TV and GEO Reportagen, FUNKE Stories offers high-quality content for a wide audience. The channel is provided by FUNKE Digital, which is also responsible for the technical implementation and advertising management.
TIVEE is aggregating FAST Channels for DNMG network operators to distribute on their cable networks on a dedicated channel slot. Using the HbbTV standard, the TIVEE platform opens the door for cable viewers to a vast selection of FAST Channels that are streamed to their TV sets via the internet. With this integration, TIVEE bridges the gap between cable television and streaming, offering a seamless entertainment experience.
