Ocilion integrates wedotv into IPTV platform

March 3, 2025 12.26 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

IPTV service provider Ocilion is integrating free streaming service wedotv into its IPTV platform.

This move marks the first time that FAST Channels are available as a set-top box app on Ocilion’s IPTV service. The free streaming offer comprises a diverse range of on-demand movies, entertainment and series, as well as more than 50 FAST Channels including wedotv big stories, wedotv movies, wedotv sports and wedotv true stories.

Starting today, wedotv is accessible via the app portal on Ocilion’s IPTV platform for network operators in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.

“Following the successful launch of our AVOD and FAST Channel platform, we are delighted to have found a strong partner in Ocilion who will distribute our entire offering and make it accessible to new audiences. With the world of free entertainment from wedotv, network operators can offer their customers even more programme variety,” said Philipp Rotermund, CEO and Founder of wedotv.

Kristin Koepke, Head of Content at Ocilion, added: “With wedotv, we are expanding the app offering on our P400 and P500 set-top boxes with a wide range of content that is free of charge for users. This allows us to offer a wide selection of titles on demand as well as a colourful programme mix around the clock with numerous FAST Channels. This marks the first time we are incorporating such channels into our IPTV platform, and we plan to further expand the lineup throughout the year.”
