Piers Morgan Uncensored today hit one billion views on YouTube, just weeks after the broadcaster took control of the brand.
The powerful digital-first channel has established itself as a safe space for world leaders and Hollywood A-listers.
Speaking about the online milestone, Piers Morgan said: “Our channel is one of the world’s biggest and fastest growing on YouTube, and we have reached this extraordinary total of a billion views in under three years, quicker than any other news/debate/interview channel in history. We intend to accelerate this ferocious growth as we aggressively expand the Uncensored brand.”
Lindsey Bowers, Head of Publishing at Piers Morgan Uncensored, added: “We now have 3.7 million subscribers on YouTube. It’s incredible to see such rapid growth, but for us, it’s not just about views, but watch time too. Our impressive watch time proves viewers are engaging with our content as well as coming back time and again.”
In January it was announced Morgan’s Wake Up Productions would take over the Piers Morgan Uncensored business from Rupert Murdoch’s News UK.
The deal includes the rights in the Piers Morgan Uncensored YouTube channel which has been the home to the talk show that initially launched as part of the failed TalkTV venture in 2021.
News UK will maintain a commercial interest in Piers Morgan Uncensored until 2029.
