German cable operator PŸUR has expanded its TV and streaming service PŸUR TV HD by introducing a new mobile app that allows customers to access their TV packages on smartphones and tablets, both at home and on the go.
The PŸUR TV app, available at no additional cost, is automatically included with all PŸUR TV HD packages. Customers can use the app to access up to 84 channels from their subscribed packages. While all channels booked via the PŸUR TV box can be viewed on mobile devices via Wi-Fi within the home, many channels – such as the public broadcasters and the channels from RTL Group – are also accessible outside the home without additional fees.
“With this app, we’re offering greater flexibility and convenience to our customers,” said Lars Lanske, Head of TV & On-Demand Products at PŸUR’s parent company Tele Columbus. “Whether relaxing on the couch, traveling by train, or sitting in a café, PŸUR TV adapts to our customers’ needs, making our services even more attractive.”
The app supports additional features already available on the PŸUR TV HD platform, such as the ability to restart live broadcasts and access programmes from the past seven days. Customers can register up to four devices and use the app on multiple devices simultaneously.
The PŸUR TV app is available for download on Apple iOS and Android devices through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Existing PŸUR TV HD customers will receive detailed information, including login credentials, from early February 2025.
