RiC.today to join simpliTV in Austria

January 14, 2025 12.05 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Children’s and family channel RiC.today will launch on Austrian TV platform simpliTV on 15 January 2025.

The ad-free learning and educational channel, operated by German media company Your Family Entertainment (YFE), combines entertaining elements with educational content from science to history, opening up new opportunities for young viewers to discover the world in English language.

RiC.today joins sister channels RiC TV and Fix&Foxi TV which have been available on simpliTV since 2018. The platform is operated by Austrian technical service provider ORS Group.

“We are very pleased to introduce RiC.today on simpliTV. With RiC.today, we are expanding our offering with a unique learning channel that conveys knowledge to children in a playful way and gives parents the security of knowing that their children can consume and enjoy high-quality and age-appropriate content,” said Laurence Robinet, Chief Broadcast Officer of YFE.

Philipp Dainese, Managing Director of simpliTV, added: “With simpliTV, we not only want to make television easily accessible to all Austrians, but also offer them the greatest possible variety of content. We are all the more pleased that our youngest and smallest viewers in particular now have another option to watch entertaining content tailored to their needs with RiC.today.”
