Technicolor technology is to enhance the video quality of content from streaming service Plex.
The Advanced HDR by Technicolor solution was developed by a partnership of InterDigital, Philips and Technicolor. It is designed to deliver superior brightness, contrast, and color accuracy, ensuring a premium viewing experience for its audience.
“As more consumers see the upgraded viewing experience that HDR provides, the demand for HDR content grows. Consumers have come to expect streaming services and TV broadcasts to have the highest image quality possible,” said Rick Dumont, Head of Business Development for HDR at Philips.
