TF1+ celebrates first 12 months

January 9, 2025 14.15 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Almost 54 million people – close to 9 out of 10 of the French population – have used the TF1 streaming platform.

One year after launch, the platform has released data showing it to have a monthly average of 33 million streamers, 4 million a day, making it the leading French streaming platform.

It says 1.1 billion hours have been viewed, which while meaningless alone, represents a 47% uplift on its nearest competitor. It is also 50% more than the audience attracted to its processor MYTF1 the year before.

It is also the platform that reaches the most young people in France with more than 11 million 15-34 year-olds visiting the platform each month.

“We are delighted to celebrate this first year with our users, thanks to whom TF1+ has become such a success in just one year ,” says Claire Basini, DGA in charge of B2C activities at TF1 Group . ” Our platform was designed to offer easy and free access to quality content, and we are proud to see how much it has been adopted by all French people. Our mission is to continue to enrich our catalog and innovate in terms of features to retain streamers and allow them to make the most of our content.”

In addition to the domestic market of France, TF1+ has also developed a presence in French-speaking Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Later this year it will move into Africa.

TF1+ aggregated content includes Arte, the L’Equipe channel, Le Figaro TV and Deezer.
