Streaming platform Rakuten TV has launched a new branded FAST channel celebrating the best of Nordic cinema.
Nordic Films is available in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, and is live immediately.
Rakuten says it “captures the essence of Nordic storytelling and its cinematic richness”.
The channel features a wide range of genres, from family comedies and dramas to crime thrillers and adventures.
The channel features a lineup of films featuring actors well known to Nordic audiences, including Mads Mikkelsen, Alexander Skarsgård, Joel Kinnaman, Josephine Bornebusch, Cecilia Frode, Malin Crépin, Rolf Lassgård, Michael Nyqvist, Erik “Jerka” Johansson, amongst others.
