Aarne Aho has taken over as Chief Technology Officer for Sky where he oversees the technology teams across Sky’s markets including the UK & Ireland, Germany and Italy.
Aarne Aho joined Sky in December 2024 after nine years at Liberty Global, most recently as Managing Director of the Service Delivery Group, where he was responsible for IT and technology platform delivery and operations.
Prior to that, Aho spent six years at Virgin Media in executive roles spanning product and propositions, IT, delivery and customer experience.
Prasanna Gopalakrishnan departed Sky in September after three years.
