From 1 January 2025, German children’s channel RiC TV will bring the animated series The Fairly OddParents to German-speaking audiences in Europe.
The award-winning show, featuring the misadventures of 10-year-old Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda, will air daily at 19:00 CET.
The launch coincides with a technical upgrade for RiC TV, as the free-TV channel transitions to an optimised frequency on the Astra satellite system (19.2° East) as part of a renewed capacity agreement with Austrian technical service provider ORS.
The new slot at 11,302 GHz H (SR 22.000, FEC 2/3) will be the channel’s permanent home from 2025. The parallel transmission on the previous frequency will be terminated on 31 December 2024.
