3SS Appoints Fabio Souza as Head of Latin America

December 12, 2024 09.39 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

3 Screen Solutions (3SS), a provider of software solutions for set-top boxes, smart TV, multiscreen and in-vehicle entertainment, has appointed Fabio Souza as 3SS Head of Latin America.

Effective immediately, Souza will lead the company’s activities in the region from his base in Sao Paolo. He will oversee all aspects of the business including sales, partner relations and customer success, while spearheading growth and market leadership.

Earlier in his career Souza has held positions at major regional pay-TV operators. Following serving as a business analyst at Sky Brazil, in 2005 he became Product Manager for Claro Brazil, where he worked for six years. In 2011, he led the launch of Brazilian pay-TV operator GVT TV.

From 2015 to 2020, Souza worked at Cisco as Product Marketing Manager, where he drove go-to-market and expansion strategies for the company’s Video Security and Video Processing portfolio. This was followed by taking up the role of Regional Business Manager at Synamedia, where he continued to support pay-TV customers across the region.

“I am super excited to join 3SS at this pivotal time as the company is embarking on a new era of expansive growth,” said Souza. “The 3Ready product platform has become the go-to solution for operators seeking to launch their next-generation TV and entertainment hubs: I’m really looking forward to helping service providers to deliver world class viewing experiences, making entertainment simpler and more personal, for consumers across Latin America.”

“Fabio brings a highly valuable diversity of experience to 3SS, having worked with operators as well as vendors,” added Kai-Christian Borchers, 3SS Managing Director. “With his proven expertise and deep market knowledge in supporting service providers both from the inside and outside, Fabio is the ideal fit for us as we move forward in the rapidly developing Latin American region.”
