More Screens CEO Predrag Mandlbaum has been giving details of a new streaming service it has created on behalf of Public Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG).
The launch of the service follows a competitive tender involving several vendors. Mandlbaum says the company met RTCG’s “stringent” requirements for technology, service, and cost.
The initial release of MNE Play is now live, offering a seamless viewing experience across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, and Android TV. In the coming months, the service will expand to support an additional seven client devices, such as Hisense Vidaa, Roku, and Apple TV, totalling 13 different platforms and devices.
Features include Live TV and Live Radio; Video and audio on demand; Advanced catch-up TV functionality; AI-powered content search with advanced filtering option and “My Content” personalization features.
MNE PLAY is also used as a resource for smaller local TV stations in Montenegro that might lack the resources to develop their own OTT solutions.
