Finland’s Teleste Corporation increased deliveries in North America in the third quarter, but continued to see low demand in Europe.
Teleste President & CEO Esa Harju said there were indications that investment in next generation DOCSIS 4.0 technology would commence in parts of Europe in the latter half of 2025. He added that while the company had been able to “solidify” its position with operators in North America this was insufficient to compensate for continued reduced volumes in Europe.
Net sales decreased by 15.1% to €29.9 million in the period between July and September, delivering an operating result of €1.3 million, a 160% increase.
In updated guidance first issued on 16 September 2024, Teleste estimates that the net sales in 2024 will amount to €120-135 million and that the adjusted operating result in 2024 will €1-4 million.
