Media Press Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Comspace, a premier Swedish EPG and metadata provider.
This collaboration aims to bring integrated TV metadata solutions to studios, broadcasters, and TV operators across Northern Europe.
Media Press COO Milosz Cechnicki comments: “With this partnership, Media Press and Comspace are combining their strengths to address the evolving needs of the TV market in Northern Europe. At Media Press, we are committed to driving innovation, as demonstrated by our recent launch of the OpenID initiative, which simplifies content supply chains for studios, broadcasters, streamers, and TV operators.”
Peter Grufman, Comspace CEO, adds: “We are very happy to have Media Press as a partner and together we will develop new and exciting products for the Nordic market. With Media Press’ long experience in metadata and Comspace’s local knowledge, we see great business opportunities. We look forward to this collaboration.“
Through this partnership, TV operators, broadcasters, and studios in Northern Europe will gain direct access to OpenID, Media Press’ universal, non-proprietary ID management solution. The partnership will also introduce Media Press’ metadata management system, workflows, enrichment, and aggregation services to technology and media enterprises in Northern Europe. These solutions will help companies achieve cost savings, increased productivity, and improved quality. Additionally, they will enhance content discovery, automation, and monetization opportunities.
