Austrian telecommunications provider LIWEST has extended its co-operation with Ocilion by several years. With Next TV, LIWEST offers television via ihe Internet and relies on Ocilion’s IPTV services.

The IPTV solution allows live programmes to be paused, rewound or restarted. A 7-day replay function, the online recorder and the availability of extensive media libraries enable time-shifted and on-demand television. Next TV can be watched on TV sets, via its own app on mobile devices and tablets as well as in the web browser.

Ocilion was founded in 2004 and provides network operators in German-speaking countries with a customised end-to-end IPTV system including 4K set-top boxes, apps, an integrated video library and extensive TV channel rights. Almost 100 network operators are using Ocilion’s IPTV platform for their own TV service.
