The Council of the Slovenian public broadcaster RTV has elected Natalija Goršcak as President of its Management Board.
She’s the third person to lead RTV in a year after Andraz Pösch was initially appointed to replace Uros Urbanija following a financial scandal.
Ms Goršcak has been acting President of the organisation since the beginning of June. She will now lead the broadcaster for the next four years.
Natalija Goršcak was Director of Television Slovenia from 2019 to 2021 and, from November 2023, headed the Editorial Board of cultural programmes. She started working as a journalist at Radio Študent in the 80s and began building her television career on commercial television Channel A. She joined RTV Slovenia in 1996.
She is also an active member of the EBU TV Committee and sits on several international juries.
