White label streaming service OKAST has announced its selection of the Publica by IAS advanced CTV ad server as a key component of European Consortium, ASAP4EU.
The partnership allows OKAST to enhance its advertisers’ targeting capabilities, enrich its streaming content viewing experience in FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) and AVOD (Advertising Video on Demand) distributions with a traditional TV-like viewing experience. It will also maximise mobile and CTV advertising revenue for CTV publishers through the implementation of a programmatic unified auction for premium ad slots within their streamed ad breaks.
Publica’s Advanced Ad Pod Decisioning allows advertisers to secure prime placement and maintain competitive separation by category. The Unified Auction enables a controlled bidding process to maximise ad revenue for each slot, while the ‘Live Logs’ feature provides real-time transparency and optimization of ad auctions, enhancing yield and data strategies. This approach helps OKAST maintain demand through supply path optimisation (SPO).
Those key features are the foundation building block for OKAST’s new European Consortium ASAP4EU, which aims to offer a pan European solution for advanced TV related ad formats like shoppable and interactive ads.
“Joining forces with OKAST marks an exciting milestone as we continue to expand our advanced TV partnerships with leading streamers in Europe,” says Cameron Miille, CRO, Publica by IAS. “Our CTV Ad Server has been specifically built for CTV streaming content publishers, and with our Advanced Ad Pod Decisioning technology we look forward to delivering enhanced viewing experiences and maximising revenue for CTV publishers in Europe and driving success with OKAST, the consortium and its partners.”
Cédric Monnier, CEO of OKAST, added: “We are thrilled about this new strategic partnership and the advantages it brings by integrating Publica by IAS into our business stack. This is just the first step toward an ambitious solution under the ASAP4EU consortium, aimed at increasing revenue for publishers across FAST and AVOD distributions in Europe and beyond.”
