Poles spent fewer hours in front of the TV during August, but made time for the Olympic Games.
Polish viewers spent an average of 3 hours 31 minutes per day in front of TV screens in August, up by just three minutes per day versus July. The Paris Olympics, which Polish audiences followed closely, accounted for eight of the top 10 most-watched programs on TV in August.
Streaming’s share of total TV viewing increased to 8.7% in August (up from 8.6% in July). YouTube and Netflix’s share of total TV viewership remained unchanged at 2.1% and 1.9%, respectively, and “others” increased slightly (up 0.1% from July).
