Disney is offering a “limited time promotion” ahead of both a blockbuster autumn and an upcoming price increase.
Starting September 12 through until September 28 (07:59 BST), new and returning customers can subscribe to Disney+ Standard with Ads for £1.99/month for three months. This represents a £9 saving on the current price.
Versions of the offer are available in other markets outside of the UK ahead of an anticipated rise in subscription rates on October 17.
New and existing customers will be able to enjoy autumn premieres that include the highest-grossing animated film of all time, Pixar’s Inside Out 2, Marvel’s Agatha All Along (September 19), and the return of the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place franchise (October 30).
Disney will be hoping the discounted offer – like other streamers it has long since dropped trial weeks – will encourage subscribers to stay on board.
