iWedia selected by HbbTV for Test Suite maintenance

September 6, 2024 10.35 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

iWedia, a provider of software solutions for connected TV devices and services, has been selected as an official vendor for HbbTV Test Suite maintenance by the HbbTV organisation.

This decision reinforces the trust and confidence which HbbTV has in iWedia’s engineering expertise and reliable services, according to the company.

iWedia has a longstanding partnership with HbbTV, contributing to the development and maintenance of previous Test Suites alongside test harness solutions, enhancing the robustness and quality of the HbbTV standards.

“We are honoured to be chosen once again by the HbbTV organisation to maintain the official Test Suite for the latest HbbTV standards,” said Zivko Radonjic, Business Development Manager at iWedia. “This selection reflects our commitment to delivering top-notch engineering solutions and services that meet the highest industry standards.”

The HbbTV Test Suite plays a crucial role in ensuring that devices comply with the latest HbbTV specifications, enabling seamless interoperability and an enhanced viewing experience for consumers.
