XroadMedia unveils advanced analytics and generative AI suite

August 27, 2024 13.02 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

XroadMedia unveils advanced analytics and generative AI suite for scalable personalisation at IBC.

XroadMedia has announced the launch of its latest suite of advanced features. The update within their solution focuses on the application of AI, new ways to utilise social media, frictionless sports experiences and enhanced analytics tools to build on the user journey that extends beyond the user interface.

Along with supporting natural language and conversational voice search, XroadMedia uses LLM to create emotionally relatable row titles that address users and the content they enjoy. Usually, these models are not scalable, and there’s always a risk that what is displayed will go against operator’s brand guidelines or even offend the user. This is why XroadMedia is giving control back to editorial teams, meaning that they can select from the options given, ensuring that each title fits with their brand. Additionally, XroadMedia’s implementation increases scalability and efficiency, which is where tools like ChatGPT and other AI solutions fall short, as they are time-consuming and costly.

XroadMedia will also showcase new use cases, specifically for sports enthusiasts and around social media trends. The aim is to help service providers to create dynamic sports experiences, based on real-time sports data, without the need to make changes in their existing UI. In Amsterdam, XroadMedia will also demonstrate how trends across different social media channels will enhance the user experience even further. For service providers, this opens up new avenues for engaging their users and increasing the monetization of their content catalog.

The XroadMedia team has enhanced its reporting suite to track the results of A/B tests and show the true value of personalization. This tool easily measures KPIs such as time to first playback, return visits and effective catalog size for entire audiences or defined customer segments.

Adolf Proidl, Chief Executive Officer, XroadMedia, comments, “The market is constantly evolving; it’s exciting. We prioritize listening to the market and actively engaging with our customers to ensure that we’re providing them with the right tools and guidance for success. Our most recent updates with generative AI, help services connect with users and show them they understand them, as well as easing the frustration of searching for content. The analytics tool provides unique insights for all important KPIs and proves the true value personalisation has on our customer’s services.”
