Visitors to the upcoming IBC, 13-16 September in Amsterdam, will have the opportunity to visit the AI Tech Zone, an area created in collaboration with EBU that is dedicated to the cutting edge of AI in media applications.
While the exhibition area will showcase technology and service providers, a conference theatre will host expert talks and panels across a range of relevant topics, including exciting developments such as the C2PA standard for content provenance and authenticity.
Speakers include EBU experts Francois Lavoir, Senior EU Policy Adviser, Ben Poor, Senior Project Manager, and Sébastien Noir, Head of T&I Software Engineering, as well as leading thinkers from EBU Member and Associate organizations such as the BBC, KBS, RTVE and Yle.
As a whole, the AI Tech Zone serves as a showcase for how AI is reshaping every aspect of broadcasting and media – from content creation and production workflows to audience engagement and data-driven insights.
The IBC AI Tech Zone 2024 is designed with a focus on real-world applications, demonstrating how AI can be harnessed to create more efficient, creative, and personalized media experiences. The EBU aims to ensure that these innovations align with the values of public service media (PSM) and that technological progress serves the broader public interest.
The AI Tech Zone is found in Hall 14.
