Venu Sports, the streaming service that combines content from Disney’s ESPN, Warner Bros. Discovery and Fox will charge subscribers $42.99 per month.
Subscribers will be able to view a line-up that includes NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB.
A seven-day free trial is also available with the $42.99 entry price available for 12 months after that. The implication is that price increases will follow.
The partners are juggling the need to tap into new subscribers who favour the streaming format with a lucrative offer for US cablenets.
“Targeted at sports fans outside the traditional pay TV bundle, Venu is planning a launch in the US in the fall and will offer thousands of live sports events from all the major professional sports leagues and top college conferences,” the company said in a statement.
The expectation is that the launch will be before the start of the Sports to become available ahead of the start of the National Football League season which gets underway.
