
Arcom has carried out a pre-selection of the channels that have applied to broadcast on the French DTT system.
DTT, locally styled as TNT, is the exclusive reception mode for nearly 20% of households. The channels represented also account for 90% of the total television audience.
In 2025, licences for 15 DTT services will expire and Arcom has been conducting public hearings with 24 candidates (July 8 to 17).

Missing in controversial news channel C8, seen as a political snub towards Canal+ and shareholder Vincent Bolloré.
NRJ12 has also failed to receive a licence, a disappointment for the channel, which says it has seen significant audience growth over the last three years, particularly among young people.
