IPTV service provider Ocilion is expanding its TV offering in Germany and Austria with five HD channels through a licence agreement with broadcast group Berliner Fernseh Gruppe.
DokuSat, DMF, TeleGold, Volksmusik.tv and Lilo TV will be available as linear 24/7 channels with interactive add-on features.
DokuSat shows a wide range of documentaries, while DMF broadcasts movies, music films and music shows. TeleGold focuses on music with a focus on Schlager and German folk music, as well as films, shows and reports. Volksmusik.tv is dedicated entirely to folk music, while Lilo TV targets a female audience with series, cookery and other programmes.
“We are continuously expanding our content variety and are delighted to be able to provide our customers with high-quality programmes in new categories,” said Thomas Bichlmeir, Chief Product Officer at Ocilion.
The five new channels are offered in the ‘Ocilion HD Bonus Package’, which is available for free to the company’s B2B customers.
