
Spanish local TV channel TeleElx has made public its audience data in real time, thanks to measurement through HbbTV.
The information was made available through Mostaza TV.
TeleElx, which serves the city of Elche in South East Spain, released the information for its coverage of a local festival.
The information showed that at 22.22, 6,077 households were connected and viewing the event – a number that was displayed on screen for viewers following the broadcast – increasing and decreasing as viewers joined or left the stream.
TeleElx is the first broadcaster to make audience information public and says it will continue to do so.
