French platform Free TV has released its own app for Apple Vision Pro.
It means its Freebox subscribers with the TV service and subscribers on the 5G Free Mobile Plan will be able to access OQEE by Free’s TV services through Apple Vision Pro.
The Cupertino company released its immersive experience device in Europe last week.
OQEE gives subscribers access to over 230 live TV channels, as well as a whole host of catch-up services and on-demand content. Freebox subscribers can also access OQEE Ciné directly on Apple Vision Pro, giving them an unprecedented experience.
Functionality includes live pause and rewind, and start over.
Freebox subscribers can also use the app to record programs and watch them later, with up to 320 hours of recording included depending on their Freebox plan.
To use OQEE on Apple Vision Pro, subscribers just need to download and install the app from the App Store, or by asking Siri, and then connect with their Free login and password.
Separately, ARTE has unveiled its own arte.tv application, optimized for Apple Vision Pro for its launch in France and Germany. The European arts channel is offering its entire catalogue in the format, including a new adaptation of Inua – A Story in Ice and Time, its multi-award winning narrative adventure video game, designed for the launch of the first space computer in France and Germany.
