DAZN is one of five channels being removed by Canal+ from its packages in France next month.
Starting August 12, the DAZN1 channel will no longer be available, meaning that even if DAZN secures rights to Ligue 1 football it is unlikely to be available on the Canal+ platform.
With the partnership between DAZN and Canal at an end the channel will be removed from offers including Canal+ Sport, Pack Sport, Intégrale, Intégrale+ and Canal+ Friends & Family.
J-One, Mangas, M6 Music, Museum, and TIJI are also being removed from satellite, though the channels will continue to be available through myCanal and operator boxes.
