French free-to-air platform Fransat has launched a new range of 4K-Ultra High Definition satellite decoders.
The receiver enables reception of the newly launched UHD channels without a subscription.
Four models are currently available; Servimat Sirius 4K , CGV E-SAT , Metronic 441680 and Triax THR 7640.
In addition to the exceptional picture quality of UHD the units also feature Dolby Digital Atmos and Dolby Digital + (AC4 and AC3) sound, for immersive spatial audio rendering.
