Tidal says its withdrawing its music streaming app from Samsung TVs.
It follows a similar move in recent weeks with Roku and Amazon Fire TV product.
“After July 8, 2024, Tidal will no longer be available on Samsung Smart TVs. To keep listening to your favourite tunes, log in to Tidal from your computer, download the mobile app, or discover other ways to stream,” said Tidal in a statement.
The change will impact TVs running Tizen OS from next month.
Tidal is still available through other TV brands and streaming devices including Android, Google, Apple and Sonos.
Tidal has also announced plans to drop MQA tracks in favour of FLAC formatted files from July 24. It has also reduced its subscription costs from £20 per month to £11.
