German FAST Channel platform TIVEE will add the channel Tierwelt live to its lineup on 1 July 2024.
The new service will be automatically added to the ‘Documentaries’ category for all viewers.
Tierwelt live shows animal, nature and wildlife documentaries as well as outdoor adventure programmes. Service provider FUNKE Digital handles technical operations and markets the advertising inventory.
Cable association Deutsche Netzmarketing (DNMG) provides TIVEE to associated network operators for distribution. The service, which launched in February 2024, brings an aggregated selection of FAST Channels to the cable networks on a DVB-C channel.
The channels reach TV screens via the internet through an application based on the open HbbTV standard.
