T-Mobile Poland expands offer with Olympic Eurosport channels

June 25, 2024 12.42 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland and T-Mobile have signed a new partnership agreement, which will give the operator’s customers access to Eurosport channels featuring the Paris Olympics.

The summer games get underway on July 26.

Customers will receive eight Eurosport pop-up channels – seven in HD quality and one in 4K quality – where they can watch unforgettable broadcasts of the Olympic Games.

The Eurosport pop-up channels will broadcast competitions from various disciplines, including tennis, football, basketball, combat sports, handball, volleyball, and golf, which are loved by Polish viewers. Warner Bros. Discovery is the “Home of the Olympics.” The group’s platforms, including the Olympic pop-up channels, remain the only place where every moment of the event will be covered.

“The Paris Olympic Games evoke great emotions not only among fans but also among people who do not follow sports events daily. Our unique offer of 8 Olympic channels guarantees that viewers will be able to watch athletes’ struggles in various disciplines. Now, thanks to our cooperation, we will be able to experience sports emotions together with T-Mobile customers,” emphasizes Dorota ?urkowska, Group Senior Vice President – Revenue, Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland.

“At T-Mobile, we connect our customers with the best, ensuring their unique experiences and being where great emotions are. Therefore, I am very pleased that in our MagentaTV offer, we will provide as many as 8 new Olympic Eurosport channels. Thanks to our cooperation with Warner Bros. Discovery, we will offer live sports emotions in the highest quality. We can’t wait for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games. Let’s join forces to support Polish athletes competing on the international stage!” said Goran Markovic, Board Member and B2C Director at T-Mobile Poland.
