NetRange adds FAST Channels from OTTera to smart TV portal

June 21, 2024 11.41 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

NetRange is now making FAST Channels supplied by OTTera available to TV manufacturers and content brands through its white-label smart TV ecosystem.

“Thanks to our partnership with NetRange, we have the opportunity to capitalise on the ever-expanding market of smart TV brands that are eager to enrich their content portfolios by delivering FAST channels through our StreamBridge service,” said Jordan Warkol, VP of Business Development at OTTera.

Michi Uemetsu, CTO of NetRange parent company Access Co, added: “The OTTera FAST Channels joining our smart TV ecosystem aligns with our strategic goal of offering a diverse and engaging content ecosystem, enabling OTTera to expand the reach of its FAST Channels. This agreement enables NetRange to provide its content brand and TV manufacturing customers with increased user engagement, revenue opportunities, and long-term business growth.”

NetRange provides portal and ecosystem solutions tailored for smart TV manufacturers, retailers and content brands. The company constantly seeks to broaden its global content selection by collaborating with leading global and local providers, placing particular emphasis on emerging markets. NetRange portals and ecosystems can be operated as global solutions or designed for specific markets.

OTTera is a white-label service allowing companies to quickly launch customised OTT services. Based in Los Angeles, the company has maintained partnerships with major CE manufacturers such as LG, Samsung, Vizio, TCL, Sony and Hisense for over 14 years, covering platforms including iOS, tvOS, Android, Android TV, Roku, HTML5, Chromecast and Web. The OTTera service offers linear distribution to cable/satellite services and vMVPDs (Samsung, LG, Sling, Xumo, Pluto etc.) as well as monetisation through its advertising division AdNet+.
