Sportworld launches FAST Channels for Euro 2024

June 6, 2024 07.45 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German streaming platform Sportworld is accompanying the European Football Championship 2024 with global FAST Channels, a live ticker, highlight clips, information on the live broadcasts of the matches and an interactive betting game.

The two FAST Channels Insight Zone: EURO 2024 and Insight Zone EURO 2024 – Team Germany provide 24/7 data and statistics from Stats Perform, which are updated and visualised in real time, including player comparisons, goal analyses and heat maps, supplemented by press conferences, player interviews and other content. The free, ad-financed channels also offer extensive pre- and post-match coverage of all games. During the matches, they switch to live mode so that fans worldwide can follow the action even without access to the live signal.

Sportworld, which will adopt the Euro 2024 look and feel during the tournament, will also inform fans about the channels which are broadcasting the matches live in their respective countries.

The mobile app will be equipped with a live ticker summarising match events in real time. The function will also be offered on Sportworld’s smart TV apps in future and will provide information on live events across all sports.

Part of the offer is also a betting game where sports fans can collect points for their favourite country based on probabilities and win prizes.

Sportworld offers access to both free and subscription channels, over 10,000 highlight clips, programme information from more than 2,850 channels worldwide and statistics on over 200,000 sporting events per year. The Sportworld app is available on smart TVs (Samsung and LG) and mobile devices (iOS/Android), currently reaching active users in 205 countries worldwide.
