Shop LC and SES renew Astra satellite capacity

June 6, 2024 11.36 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Teleshopping broadcaster Shop LC and Astra satellite operator SES are extending their partnership.

With the new multi-year agreement, the German-language free-to-air TV channel will continue to be available in HD quality to DTH satellite households in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via the Astra position 19.2° East.

Shop LC is a subsidiary of VGL Global, a producer of jewellery, cosmetics, home accessories, fashion and other items. With over 40 years of experience, the VGL Group has its own production facilities in India, Thailand and China.

Over the past 17 years, the company has established teleshopping channels in the UK, the US and Germany.
