German industry association Deutsche TV-Plattform has founded a task force on accessibility at the interface between content, platform and device.
With the increasing diversification of the audiovisual media landscape, the complexity of delivering on the promise of accessibility and inclusion is also growing. At the same time, European and national regulations are presenting content providers, platform operators and device manufacturers with new challenges.
The joint exchange can help to design the transfer points between content, platform and device in such a way that accessibility for end users can be further improved, according to Deutsche TV-Plattform.
