The legendary Roland-Garros fortnight (May 26 to June 9) will be available across France for free in the 4K-UHD format.
The annual tennis contest, which regularly plays host to technological innovation, will be one of the first events to be broadcast by the France 2 UHD channel.
France 2 UHD will broadcast matches from courts Philippe-Chatrier, Suzanne Lenglen, Simonne Mathieu and court 14.
In addition to high quality pictures, coverage will also feature Dolby Atmos sound.
France 2 UHD is broadcast terrestrially and over satellite including the Fransat UKD platform.
