German TV channel Astro TV is closing down its operations the end of 2024.
The decision was made as part of a strategic realignment by the owner Ingenio Europe, according to operating company Adviqo, adding that since its foundation, Astro TV has built up a loyal audience and is regarded as the leading TV platform for esoteric life coaching and spiritual content in German-speaking countries.
“We can look back on over 20 years of successful broadcasting in Germany and Europe and are proud of what Astro TV has achieved during this time,” said Tom Tews, Managing Director of Adviqo. “It is now time for us to adjust our focus and set the course for the future in an increasingly digitised world.”
