Dutch streaming service NLZIET is following in the footsteps of Netflix and Disney+ by launching a new advertising supported tier.
NLZIET Basis will cost €7.95 per month and includes advertising in the VOD content of the RTL and Talpa channels. The VOD content from public broadcaster NPO Plus remains ad-free. NLZIET’s Basic subscription allows subscribers to watch on a single device at any one time, while the other NLZIET subscriptions allow simultaneous viewing on two devices.
In addition to the introduction of the lower-priced NLZIET Basis, the joint venture is changing the price of its other tiers; NLZIET Premium is now €9.95 per month and NLZIET Extra €11.95 per month.
NLZIET is a collaboration between Dutch Public Broadcasting, RTL Nederland and Talpa TV.
The TV streaming service NLZIET allows viewers, both linear and on demand, to watch more than 40 live channels from the media groups NPO, RTL Nederland and Talpa Network, supplemented by regional broadcasters, INPLUS, Pebble TV and the Flemish public channels.
The NLZIET Extra subscription offers additional channels: BBC First, BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC Four, BBC News, History Channel, Crime + Investigation, E! Entertainment, Curiosity Channel and Euronews.
